Four new Game of Thrones episodes have been leaked already

The first one was due to be aired simultaneously across 170 countries tomorrow.

IT WAS DUE to air tomorrow morning, but four episodes of the fifth series of hugely popular Game of Thrones have already been leaked online.

It’s the most pirated show in television, so perhaps it’s no surprise that the new series leaked so early.

But with a show like this, where characters can die at the most unexpected times, it has left fans fearing major spoilers.

The start of the new series is due to air simultaneously at 1am GMT tomorrow in 170 countries.

HBO, the US cable channel which airs Game of Thrones, said:

Sadly, it seems the leaked four episodes of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones originated from within a group approved by HBO to receive them. We’re actively assessing how this breach occurred.

The 2014 season was illegally downloaded more than eight million times, according to TorrentFreak.

The series is based on George RR Martin’s fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire, and the new season looked like the most intense yet.
