It involved gardaí rescuing two hostages from a terrorist gunman who holed up in a port warehouse.
A vessel was detected interacting suspiciously with an unregistered fishing vessel.
It then travels towards Drogheda Port and An Garda Siochana were required to intercept the vessel. The trawler was carrying explosives.
Members of the Emergency Response Unit (ERU) and Regional Support Unit (RSU) boarding the fishing vessel to deal with the hostage situation.
The ERU received assistance from the Water Unit.
