EMERGENCY SERVICES HAD to deal with a truck on fire on the M50 earlier today.
The truck was located on the M50 northbound just after Junction 6, Blanchardstown.
It’s understood that the incident happened at around 1.30pm this afternoon.
The fire has now been extinguished and was awaiting recovery.
AA roadwatch said at the time that the fire meant it was slow on approach from before J7 Lucan northbound and from J5 Finglas southbound.
Gardaí were advising motorists to drive with caution as smoke is likely to affect visibility.
The truck has since been cleared.
