WE HOPE YOU had the electric blanket set up for last night, as temperatures plummeted to -7 Celsius in some areas of Ireland.
Temperatures are expected to be between 2 and 4 degrees at best in the east and north, but a little higher in the west and south today.
While Irish weather can be pretty brutal some times, despite the cold, it can still be pretty beautiful.
This morning is what is described as a beautiful frosty morning on the Emerald Isle, with many of you taking out the cameras to capture the scenes around the country.
So grab the hat, scarf, the thermal undies and head out for a nice walk. Enjoy!
