THE MOMENT A manhole cover exploded on a busy street in Dublin city centre has been caught on camera.

Eyewitnesses said thick, green, foul-smelling smoke was seen pouring from the grate.

No one was injured in the incident, and emergency services attended the scene.

People in a nearby cafe dived for cover when they heard the bang.
