AN APPEAL HAS been issued for a 59-year-old man who went missing in Meath yesterday.

James Meechan, from Ashbourne, was last seen in the Ratoath area of Co Meath yesterday.

He is described as 5 foot 10 inches in height, with white grey hair, and a scar over his left eyebrow.

James, who speaks with a Scottish accent, was last seen wearing a black ski jacket with green and grey stripes and a black woolly hat.

Anyone with any information on James’ whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí in Ashbourne on 01 8010 600, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
