BRITAIN’S FIRST “POO bus” was unveiled to the public today in Bristol.
The bus runs on human and household waste and goes into regular service later this month.
Eco-friendly
Members of the public got their first showing of the eco-friendly bus, which will be powered on waste from more than 32,000 households.
The bus will service a 15-mile route four times a day from 25 March.
The bus has some interesting artwork along the side of the bus, depicting passengers sitting on the toilet.
The Guardian reports that the managing director, James Freeman said the “poo bus” should open up the debate about how we fuel our buses.
What do you think of it?
