IT MAY NOT be an issue that has affected too many Irish people, but, regardless, there is now a solution for those alienated members of society who want to wear their work-attire while surfing.
Sportswear giant Quiksilver has designed a ‘wet suit’ wetsuit and they’re on sale right now.
Basically, it’s a water-sports wetsuit but designed to resemble something you’d generally expect from Hugo Boss.
It may all sound a little odd, but there’s nothing silly about the price – each one is retailing for about €2,300 here.
If you’re wondering, the suits are aimed at the Japanese market where an initiative called Cool Biz is being encouraged – basically workers are advised to ‘dress down’ so as to conserve energy.
Quiksilver are marketing the high spec attire as suits that “can be worn from home, to the beach, and from the beach to the office with no need to change at all”.
The patent leather shoes might not be the best idea all the same.
