A TEENAGER IS in a critical condition in hospital following a serious assault in north Dublin.
The assault happened on Greencastle Park in Coolock shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday, 3 April.
The male, who is aged in his late teens, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
They are particularly appealing to anyone who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, from Greencastle Park between 3.30pm and 4.00pm today to make it available to them.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 4200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station,” a garda spokesperson said.
“Investigations ongoing.”
