The snow, the frost, the ice: Ireland looks pretty amazing in the winter light

Fear not. Temperatures are going to be in double figures tomorrow.

IT’S BEEN BITTERLY cold out, making us all tread lightly on the path for fear of this:

On a more positive note, when Ireland hits below 0 degrees, it does make the place look particularly magical.

Whether, it’s the snow, the frost, the light or the pretty amazing sunrises and sunsets, Ireland doesn’t look too shabby.

You’ve been sending in your photos of the scenes you’ve caught around the country.

While we have all been sporting our woolly scarves and hats in recent days, panicking about braving our New Year’s Eve parties in what can only be described as not suitable winter attire, fear not, as Met Eireann says it is going to get a lot milder in the coming days.

Temperatures are set to be between 10 to 12 degrees tomorrow. Okay, it’s hardly bikini weather, but maybe we can shed a few layers, at least.
