Operation Thor

Gardaí recover stolen cars, a boat and three ride-on lawnmowers

And a regular lawnmower.

GARDAÍ IN MEATH have seized a number of stolen items from a house in Meath.

As part of an on-going operation carried out under Operation Thor into organised crime in the east of the country, gardaí searched a house in Rassilagh, Oldcastle, Co. Meath today.

During the course of the search, they recovered a 2015 Audi A5, 2010 Audi A4 Estate, a rigid inflatable boat and outboard motor, three ride-on lawnmowers, a lawnmower and power tools.

The property is believed to have been stolen during burglaries in the midlands, particularly in counties Meath and Westmeath.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is detained at Kells Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
