1.#GRIDLOCK: There have been queues at motor tax offices across the country today due to new rules which require motorists to declare their vehicles as “off the road” if they are not being used.

3. #TEACHERS: The ASTI has hit back at claims that its proposed industrial action will have a damaging impact on students and “present an appalling vista” for principals and deputy principals.

4. #MISSING: Gardaí searching for missing 65-year-old Alzheimers sufferer Margaret Mangan say that she  ‘may have sought shelter in a shed or garage’ and have urged the public to search.

5. #PUSSY RIOT: A jailed member of the Russian protest band Pussy Riot who is on hunger strike has claimed that prison authorities have cut off her water supply. A move the prison service denies.
