- Over 50 tents have been set up along the Grand Canal, as a new encampment is forming after the Mount Street area was cleared.
- Palestinians are amongst the asylum seekers living there, including a 22-year-old from Gaza whose father was killed in a bombing.
- Some of the asylum seekers at the new encampment went to Citywest, but were told the centre is at capacity.
