A NAKED STATUE of Donald Trump has been robbed from the roof of a Miami art gallery where it was on display.
The Miami Police Department announced tonight that they arrested Pedro Rodriguez and he has been charged with theft and burglary. But they have yet to recover the statue, which is part of an exhibition called ‘The Emperor Has No Balls’.
The controversial statues of the Republican presidential nominee have been erected in public spaces in New York, San Francisco, Cleveland and Seattle by Las Vegas artist Joshua Monroe.
Miami police said on the department’s official Twitter account that the statue of the Republican presidential nominee was taken from the Wynwood arts district yesterday.
WSVN-TV reports security guards in Wynwood told police they saw a group of men loading the statue into a pickup truck. A witness told investigators he took a picture of the truck as it left the neighborhood. Police ran the license plate and are now looking for the registered owner of the truck as a “person of interest.”
The New York statue located in Union Square was swiftly removed, shortly after being erected in August.
A similar statue disappeared this week in New Jersey. In Las Vegas, a naked Trump statue was knocked down and sprayed with graffiti overnight and removed today from a corner in a parking lot near a downtown music festival site.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that all that remained was a pedestal with two pink feet attached.
