AS KIDS WENT back to school and the Dáil returned there was a feeling this week that 2012 is truly underway.

So far, we’ve had Enda Kenny in London, Nick Clegg in Ireland and an almighty flare-up between the British government and Scotland over independence.

Meanwhile abroad, Mitt Romney won a presidential primary and a celebrity chef was in hot water after he nicked a few bits and pieces from Tesco.
